Thought I was raising a little pullet. This is a two month old EE. I see red! Have to consider that dad was a pure RIR, and mama was a real pretty blue and buff EE. This baby came from the prettiest green egg I've seen, at least to my taste buds. Thought I was doing well with the feathering guess. I am still holding out for a bit, RIR's do after all, have that larger comb and wattles. Just looking for any thoughts here.
Are those saddle feathers? I always thought they started further down, but now not sure. I haven't had a rooster before. This one hasn't crowed yet. Or even tried.

neck feather shot~and the legs do have some green in them now towards the top.
Happy for that, they were mostly yellow at first, and I know EE's can have yellow
legs, but I wanted to see green.
