What's wrong with Brick House? My in-laws were excited when we played "Beep Beep"..the little Nash Rambler song...at our wedding. We had probably 1/4-1/3 of our guests 60+, so it was an instant hit. The younger crowd left our wedding before the older crowd!

It was mostly 70s-80s country and classic rock.
Oh my gosh! I LOVE M*A*S*H!! It's my favorite show...even though it is 30 yrs old now. I have my DVR automatically record the show anytime it comes on.

Never really got into the new sitcoms though.

Loved dragnet. " just the facts ma'am". Yeah, i saw Elvis and the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. I've seen it all and yes, i'm older than dirt. Shows nowdays are all crap!!!!!! Haven't even watched tv in like 10 yrs. It's all crap!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so old that I remember when the first television was brought into the neighborhood. Some people were really upset about it because they thought that it was somehow related to the Atom bomb.

The guy that bought the TV was a teacher. People kept dropping by his house to see the thing. There was only two hours of broadcasting every night. Finally, he got sick of all the people, and he pushed the darn thing up to the window and let them watch from his screened porch. He gave up and went to grade papers.

Milton Beryl did drag on TV! My father was discussed. He said people used to get hung for doing stuff like that.

My mother was appalled. I am not even going to mention what they thought when they saw Amos and Andy.

My favorite was "Lassie." My mother loved Dina Shore. My dad turned his hearing aid off and took a nap. He hated television.

You had to sit at least six feet away from the device, otherwise you would get cancer of the eyeballs. Nowdays, I have a computer screen about 18 inches from my face.

I used to sneak out of bed at night to watch Jack Paar host the "Tonight Show". When Steve Allen took over the job my parents were already onto me and they would turn it off until they thought I was sleeping. To no avail. Bells and whistles for those of you that know what I mean. You youngens will just have to figer it out.

I bought the 5 tape "Best of the tonight show" set with Jonny Carson and still laugh MAO when I watch it. (When I remember where I put it)
Lets not forget Johnny Yuma as "The Rebel" Starring Steve McQueen.
ETA... He was panther quick and leather tough and he figured that he'd been pushed enough... The rebel... Johnny Yuma.
