I think I have a broody

i have this black bantam hen that keeps sitting on my lav chick trying to brood it is that the starting signs of a broody? not to highjack....hes still a baby but pretty big about as big as her and she is always brooding him around hes got alot of growing to do!!! i witnessed this and she had him under her and she was cooing at him and he kept chirping at her it was soo cute

Well--- as of this afternoon my broody girl is in the old rabbit hutch in the heated garage currently sitting on 6 eggs.... She is so sweet.... originally she just had three eggs and I placed 3 more next to her and she carefully pushed them under herself... Now the waiting begins...
