That's too bad, I'm sorry you won't be able to keep him.

You almost have the 20 posts needed to use the buy-sell-trade forum where there is a free re-homing section. You could try posting on a feed store bulletin board or Craigslist. You might also see if any 4-H kids would be interested in him.

I hope you can find him a good home.

Yes definitely a cockerel. If your dad is so anxious to eat him - let him do the processing etc. If that's what you want, otherwise one more post and your can list him on the BYC
