I think I just killed all 38 of my eggs hatching help !

When my temp went up to 110 there was someone from Tx and she said the temp in TX gets over 110 and chicks still hatch.

I had a 50% hatch. I know your pain and fell so sorry for you.

thank you everyone for your support..went right to the bator this am to check temps and humidity and its stable now at 100.4-6 humdity at 50% Im not touching it unless I have to add water-the humidity is a little high but If I mess with it to get lower Ill mess with the temp and I just cant go through that again..I will keep everyone posted as to my results around the 21st-that is my hatching date give or take a day now because of my boo-boo..thank you again

I candled and they are all gone...Day 10-12...I left 4 out of 38 in because they MAYBE had something in them but I doubt it Ill wait a few more days..I cracked everyone open-nothing, not even bullseye spots-so I dont think they were fertile to begin with! I hope my next batch of silkies has at least a few fertile eggs going in--I have people sending me small batches of eggs-totalling about 1 1/2 dozen which is what I will stick with and no more-Maybe this time by starting smaller Ill have better luck? who knowa but very sad--I feel much better though knowing that there weren't any real fertile ones in....Then if successful..Ill do another larger batch with the same eggs that did nothing..I emailed the wonderful gal who sent me24 eggs from this batch to tell her and were both just sad-she'll replace when I ready?...This website has shown me the most wonderful understanding people.... love you all! thank you
