What do you have your pool on? Grass, dirt?

That area is actually covered in moss. It drains pretty well except when I dump the entire pool at once.

I think I am going to put mine on a bed of pea gravel or sand. Drainage is a problem in the area I keep the ducks in.

thank you for the reply. I'm fixin' to renovate the outer duck run and would like to get a bigger pool for the "big kids" to swim in. I'll keep the inner run for the babies that will be hatching but I just love how your ducks have so much room and the water is so clean!

That's how mine is, the "big mud puppies" get the big pool and the "little mud puppies" get the baby pool. I suspect once the babies are grown, I will have to change the water more. I will have a total of 8 ducks.
