I think I maybe losing a second chick. Is there an infectious disease going thru my brooder?

Ok I lost one 10 day old chick today, my first chickens, and now I think a second is getting lethargic an droopy eyed. Does that sound like anything specific? They werent vac'd when I bought them and theyre on medicated food. The rest are thriving, but I dont know if I have something infectious going on. The brooder temp is good. Theyre butts are clean. A once thriving bird is now looking and acting like the one who went south. What direction should I look to?

Anyone?

From research ive done, I think she has cocci.I clean the brooder every day. Fresh water every day. I have no meds. I only have some vanilla yogurt but read yogurt really isnt right for them. They should have probiotics meant for them since hens dont nurse. Chicks dont eat dairy. I guess I have to try the yogurt unless someone else has an idea. I have no pedialite either.

Anyone out there?

If they are on medicated, they should not have cocci. What is making yo go that way? What is brooder temp? Can they move to cooler if they want? Does this one eat or drink? Give her a little honey or sugar water or even Gatorade. See if she perks up. Post again.

The brooder is set up well. They have a lot of room, they can go into shade, med heat, hottest heat at the end. Not hot hot, but I think you know what I mean. They dont huddle under it, they dont avoid it. Theyve seemed very happy. The rest still are. This one was. From what Im reading with the signs, it sounds just like cocci. Is there another sickness that has similar signs? I cant say shes not eating or drinking. I havent noticed it for that long, It just started with this one, but what I cant tell you is this once thriving bird is now acting just like the one who just died. Not active, she didnt eat or drink much, hanging head, drooping wings, drooping butt, eyes not as open and bright. Just looks ill. No discharge in the eyes from what I can see. No blood in stool, Vents clean. Now I did notice the first ones stool was a little waterier than the others. I just cleaned out the cage again, water, etc. I pointed the light down further so she can get warmer and the others can still go where they want. I gave them all some yogurt. All I have is vanilla flavored. Not sure if she took any down but she did the chomping action. Itll try to post a pic of her now. I'll try the honey too. Thanks a lot really, for replying.

Can you get some chick probiotics tomorrow? I think it would help and is not dairy. A little yogurt tonight won't hurt them.

Ok I gave her some honey. She wasnt too impressed with that and I dont know how much she got down.I watched her go around the water and feeder. Didnt drink. Pecked a couple times at food but I dont think she took anything down. I'll try to get the probiotic for her, but does it have a good turn around rate?

I'm keeping an eye on her.

Thank you again for the responses. fingers crossed
