I think I messed up - HELP!

I let mine bathe in water when they are as little as 3 days old, Just make sure the water is lukewarm and also make sure they have a heat source available.

I am like @MasterOfClucker i let mine swim at a few days old to. I just towel them off and if the heat source isn’t available I hold the duckling next to my body. We are pretty warm and can heat them pretty good in a temp pinch. I just put towels over them to help hold even more heat against them. They usually doze right off. At one point though they thought I was a jungle gym and started climbing up then jumping into my lap instead. They are tough little things.

@Graidyn how are your ducklings this morning?

They are GOOD! They were little piglets and cleaned out their whole bowl of food so I had to feed them already. Will be cleaning them shortly and will get a pic for you all 😁

Me too. I've been letting them swim since we got them. This just was deeper water than they're used to (the khakis like to dive already) and they were in too long. The pekins definitely had a harder time with it than the khakis did. 😥

So happy to hear they are doing great!! look forward to pictures. :pop
Okay. All brooders clean ( I have 7 one month old bantams and 9 one week old layers in separate brooders as well). They don't even let me get it put back together before they make another mess :lau 20200324_093219.jpg
