I think I might have a game bird. Pls help??

I was given two chicks yesterday. The brown one is almost fully feathered and I was told 10 weeks old. She does have down underneath. She is the size of my 4 week old bantam Cochin. Anyone know what I have? Someone mentioned brown leghorn on another post but this chick is really small for how old she is. Pls help, thanks

Welsummer or brown leghorn, there are a few breeds that look like that. One of mine looks similar and is the smartest chicken I own!

It has the coloring of a welsummer but I dont think that's what it is, those legs are telling me game bird, some kind of mix breed mabey

No she's a peanut! I have her in with all different size chickens and she's fine. She's five years old and still lays eggs a few times a week.

The chick in question does not have the right skin color for Leghorn or Welsummer. It's an Old English game bantam, and is only about 4 to 6 weeks old, judging by the down still on the head. The hens make great little broodies.

Oh wow didn't even think of that breed! Yes. There's so many different breeds out there!! I wonder what Peeps is? I had someone tell me once but I cannot remember.
