I see faint Barring on the blue hen. The blue, chick, & the brown chick in the last picture have headspots.

Red rooster doesn't look like a Welsummer mix, he looks like a Red Laced Wyandotte.

Solid Not Barred Rooster X Barred Hen = Sex linked chicks. Males with headspots, that feather out Barred, & Females without a headspot, & feathers out not barred.

This is the red roosters dad. I was told he was a Welsummer.

I still don't think, he's crossed, that lacing on the breast, doesn't fit a Wyandotte X Welsummer mix. I'd expect sloppy lacing. But it's still a possibility he's a cross.

BUT!! Maybe he is half gold lace Wyandotte and NOT maran. This is his sister. The father of bother is the above “Welsummer”. One mother was a maran and the other the gold laced Wyandotte.

He was hatched on our farm by a broody Faverolle. One egg was midnight maran and the other gold laced Wyandotte.
I think he’s beautiful, but I think that about all roosters.

I think all roosters are pretty too. I have quite a few roosters.
