I've got it all figured out! An older, adoring, protective brother would solve all my problems! If he was adoring, he would sympathize instead of going, "Haha, you have to do xxx, and you don't LIKE it!

"
If he was protective, I could just tell any and all annoying boys that "I have a brother who can kick your butt."
And if he was older, well, I wouldn't be the oldest anymore! I've got it all figured out!

Now if only there WAS such a things as a brother like that...

(My little brother has been making me insane, and right now, I'd like to trade him in.)

Hang in there, kiddo. It'll get better.

Have you ever thought about being to your little brother what you want in a big brother???

I was the younger sister. I know I drove my sister crazy, but I idolized her. Your little brother probably feels the same way about you.

Let us know how it's going.

I understand I was the oldest and had a little brother and I am grown and he is still a pain in the butt. I Think it is in the little brother code somewhere. Maybe make a guy friend that is older that could be like a big brother that is what I did since I was more tomboy I had a lot of guy friends they all became my big brothers.

I was raised on a farm with seven older brothers. My dad died when I was a toddler, and when I was a teenager, I had seven very strict dads. Way overprotected. I was late from a date one time (there was ice on the roads) and when I got home there were four of them standing on the front porch--two of them didn't even live at home any longer. Be careful what you wish for!

I would have loved a brother like Wildflower had.. or even a little brother I could lecture and would follow me around...

But my real older brother was no fun, Eenie... He wouldn't let me follow him around, he broke the heads off all my barbies.. always tried to get me in trouble .. when I was older he never protected me from problematic boys.. never payed me back the money I spent to get him out of jail... it's a really long list...

Be happy with a little brother.. you can make him help you with chores.. hehe!

I have an older brother (who's in NY right now

) He is very protective of me and our older sister. He threatened my cousin because she either hit or insulted my sister! He would also carry me on his back to the bus stop with him when I was little. He was born with an enlarged heart that obviously enlarged his love giving capacity. But him being a protective, loving, caring older brother doesn't stop him from being a pain in the neck!!!

ETA: My brother is VERY protective of us, especially when it comes to boys... *Thanks God*

But I never have a big problem with boys anyway... They know my dad'll kill 'em!

My 16 y/o DD would like to send her almost 18 y/o brother to you post haste. They are all fun and good until they are breathing down your neck about ANYTHING you do that might be even the littlest unsafe.

She's stuck with an military sniper for father who trained DS to protect his siblings as well. Plus the younger boys are following the line.

*sniffle* This post made me smile.
I've always thought an older sibling would be cool - I am an only child, and over the years I've learned to fend for myself. But sometimes, I think it might be a little nice to have someone watching out for you... Just gotta wait till I find a guy for that
