I think I'm broody...

Oh you would be able to figure it out, it's simple! I promise!

The cam has been moved to the Octagon, my mom told me that the egg in the front on the left has a big pip in it, so now we wait. I hope it's a fancy color!!! :)

No she wouldn't Mmmaddie, believe me. Do NOT hold your breathe, you will pass out lol. I went to the ustream website last night, got signed up, made a channel and got it working. Now I just need to figure out how to get a webcam close enough to my hatcher and a light inside of it for next week's hatch... lol. For that big ol' hatcher the cam actually needs to be inside of it, lol but that's not gonna happen.

I see major hatchin/pippin/zippin in the octagon at 5AM PST!!!

Oh and JLeigh, just for you... I candled my 2 Peafowl eggs that I set 6 days ago. Both fertile and developing. (Now who's whaa whaa whaa'n, huh?)

Well at least she said she'd get hubby to figure it out. :p

Nothing new this morning, no pips that I've heard of. #5 and 6 are still drying off in their bators, Hopefully the rest of the eggs will start doing something today!

I've moved the last two into the brooder box so now all six are in there getting all nice and warm and fluffy. They've all had good sips of water and have been curiously pecking at their food. Nobody ever told me how cute these little guys are. :D I can't believe it.. I'm already contemplating buying some more hatching eggs.. Chicken (guinea) math...

Alright here's a couple pictures for you guys.

This is the cutie that I helped hatch, the one that was breech. I'm calling him Booger/Booga/Boog because of that little thing stuck to his nosey. Not sure what it is, probably just a dried piece of membrane or something, but it's been there since he hatched, so. :p

Here's Keet #1. The only one that's different from the others so far. I'm guessing the others are Pearl Greys, which is fine with me, but I'd prefer a little more variety. :)

And this one's cute, this I took yesterday after I moved #4 into the brooder. They all lined up in the order they hatched in. Silly kids. :)

More pictures to come later! This is all I have for now. :)

Well, there's no need to be mean about it, Peeps. LOL. I'm definitely guilty as charged. I have only a little ability for that stuff and try to avoid doing what I don't do well.

Congrats on the Pea eggs. That's wonderful! Maybe you can have your camera set up and ready when it's time, and I can get a vicarious thrill out of seeing them hatch. That'd be really cool. I'll bet we could all stay busy watching your fowl eggs hatch since you have so many. Never a dull moment.

Mmmaddie - how do you take such good pictures? My keets jump from my hands within seconds of picking them up! Beautiful keets you have there! Congrats.

The ustream thing is easy, you can do it.

And these Peafowl eggs are my very first... I don't even know if I can successfully hatch them yet, lol.

Great pics Mmmaddie! The first hatched keet looks like a very gorgeous Royal Purple, but it might turn out to be a Bronze (the patch of brown on the back of it's neck makes me go hmmmm)... sure looked a lot lighter colored in the incubator when it was still wet tho. And I'd agree that the others are Pearl Greys if they all look like Booger (I have a Pygmy Mutt Goat named Booger, lol).

Any pip action on the other eggs? I thought I saw seeing a couple pips this AM, but I guess not. Did you candle them before you locked them down?

The one in the front on the right is almost out, but that's all I see going on in there as of right now. :) I thought I saw a pip, too, this morning, but I think it must've been my little tube contraption that I have sticking through the hatching tray into the water trough. Tired eyes can make up stories. :)
