We just can't buy them food during the winter (they eat ALOT!)

I could keep one (Maybe) but he would be all alone! Or will he bond to the chickens?

I'm going to have to sell my Donald too.

Good bye Donald! It was a pleasure raising you from duckling until now. It was fun seeing you follow me as a baby!

Awe I am so sorry! I know it hurts to have to let them go. Hopefully you can find them a great home though. I would take them if I could but I already have at least 15 ducks to feed through the winter.

home you find a good home!

Oh, I know the feeling, Red. I have cut my flock of chicken in half recently because the price of feed has really gone up in my area. Maybe keep two ducks if you can....Not just one because the poor duck would be lonely, I think.....

Hugs to you and so sorry to hear this,
Sharon

I just gave away all my babies, was trying to sell them but... No one is buying or around here even looking. Right now I have mixed feelings as I "sold" them for under $2/duck

but now don't have to feed them through out the winter. I now just have my adult breeder ducks which still is 25 ducks (hubby won't let me get rid of a few I think we should)

For me they are work but... Are worth it. I think that as a whole I might like them more than the chickens until of course I step into the mud hole my boys and ducks made!
