I think Im going to lose my silkie chick

All was going great till yesterday, he/she is about 2 wks old, starting to get feathers but scruffy looking, the normal look at that age , can't stand, putting wing out to balance even laying down....Bottom is clean and has never had pasty butt, was eating and drinking fine. I gave him some sugar water last night and today, I didn't expect him to be alive this am, he was laying on his side last night and appeared to be dying, but today is the same...I cant imagine what it could be, the other babies are fine and there is no way he could have gotten hurt. Any ideas?? They are eating medicated chick feed and I havent even started any treats yet. Chirps when I take him out to give him the sugar water.....poor baby, I dont know what else I should try.

I don't know either. Sometimes it just is that way. I just wanted to let you know I am sorry. It is a hard thing to go through.

Wish I could help the little guy, he is the biggest of them to, not sure what happened but I can't imagine him making it, doesn't seem to be in any pain

That is a blessing. I had a kitten go into seizures and did not stop. Nightmare.

Silkie baby still can't walk today, I can't believe he is still going, I'm syringe feeding and water, he can sort of sit up and scuffle along some, any ideas what could be wrong?? I don't know if I should keep going with him, I guess I will , should I get some vitamins today or something else anyone can suggest? I feel so bad that a very healthy chick suddenly went down and can't even stand up
