My fiance and i bought these two chickens from a feed store 6 months ago. We are getting eggs and we thought that they were two different types. One was small and brown and the others have been a cream colored. Just recently though, we noticed that our ( what we think is a sebright) has been trying to crow. Her waddles and comb have gotten larger as well and i noticed some spurs coming in on her legs. I can't tell if she is a female or a male.

edited for picture, duh!

She looks almost definitely like a hen, she's probably just maturing.

As for the crowing, I've heard of people talking of how their hen crows, it can happen. Is that a recent pic of her?

Need a better picture (one of it on the ground) to tell for sure but it could be a rooster.
(Sebright are henny feathered meaning the males don't get long "pointy" feather.)

sebrights are henny feathered, but to get buff laced, they have to have had something else crossed in, a lot of times it is old english which would result in some cock feathering for a few generations....incidentally, that hen has very good lacing from the picture...

Hello, I'm her fiance posting a few more images, I love this chicken and local zoning regulations would mean I would have to get rid of him if he were a rooster, as you can see it sits on my hand like a parakeet and it is a very calm creature, Luckily down the road there is a town that is overrun by chickens so that was an option I considered

People should check out Fair Oaks, Ca pretty neat place for chicken enthusiasts

Going off your last picture you posted I say pullet.
Your first picture made the comb/and wattles look darker.
