I think my 6 week old Bared Rock might be a rooster

Me and my family bought 6 chickens a little bit ago. As they got older I noticed that the one chicken had a bigger and a redder comb then the rest. Its wattle is red and is hanging. Can someone please tell me if my 6 week old chicken is a rooster or not

Yes, likely a boy. However, if you have other BR that are female, they (the girls) should look darker overall than a male. A male gets 2 copies of the barring gene, which means his white bars are wider. Wider white bars make the males look lighter.

I currently have 7 week old BR females. Their combs got a little color around 4.5-5 weeks and I was worried, but their combs or wattles don’t appear as obvious as the one you have pictured.
