I love fudge, not very common in Germany, in a way good for me, have to watch my sugar intake

I was able to strike a bargain on a cow tongue at the store today. I think I’m gonna use it for an Escoffier recipe, as he has an entire section on braised tongue.

WOW....never heard of anyone cooking a cow tonguer. You
do many different recipies. Good for you.

Cleaned the old trash burner this morning.
Use the wood ash to keep post knocked down in the coop.
Did start a fire after.

I do occasionaly get some sliced as lunch meat from the deli. It is in a gelatin based medium. After eating,,,,,,, I cant stop talking

My mother used to buy tongue ( because it was cheap) boil it and peel it, and serve it as lunch meat
