I know its uncommon but I cant imagine what else it could be. I found my 15 week old pullet gasping and stretching her neck up to breathe, she is making a rattling noise that sounds like its coming from her throat not her lungs. I looked down her throat but cant see anything. I am going to treat for gapeworm because I just dont know what else to do. I read people saying they gave a pea sized amount of the 10% safeguard equine paste. So im thinking about half that. Then what, repeat in 10 days or do I give it for a few days in a row. I will treat all my chickens since I only have 15. thanks so much, Im off to the store and hoepfully some of you will have some advice for me.
