Well honestly, I'm surprised you've felt the need to post for assistance on this matter. If you brought the most senior hen in and placed her in front of the computer it seems completely obvious to me, especially given the events you've outlined, the your senior hen would type:
There is a large predator outside and would you please shoot it!

Really! No wonder chickens think humans aren't playing with a full deck.

Hey chickenheads! It's me, chickenchirps1973. I know this sounds kind of weird, but starting about a month ago, my chickens have started acting in very human-like manners.

I've always thought of my chickens as having very lively and intelligent personalities. Per example, my hen, Sniffy, loves the newspaper and reads it like a human being. This is so funny to me, because she is a chicken, and chickens cannot read. Another hen, Dinger, loooooooooovvvveeeeessss Frasier. Whenever Dinger is in the house, she always sits politely and watches Frasier.

Recently, however, I believe that my chickens have been leaving me messages. Three weeks ago, I was cleaning out the coups, when I found feces in the form of something that looks like SOS. This was confusing, because as I mentioned before, I'm pretty sure chickens can't read. This has happened almost daily since then.

Now, whenever I leave the house for work in the morning, they stand in a straight line and silently watch me until I turn the corner. Whenever I'm in the house, they scream until I let them in, but when I do let them in they just stare at me.

Last night is what made me think that something is truly going on. I entered the coup late at night, and turned on the lights, and saw a circle of chickens suddenly scatter away and pretend to sleep. It seemed like they were gathered around something, and I found two rifle bullets where they were gathered.

Please help me. I know this sounds weird but something is wrong. I know it.
