For all those that followed this post I thought I would update
I find it amazing when you take an egg and incubate getting a duckling then 5 months later that duckling rewards you with an egg
I got my first egg from one of my 3 hatched girls
I’m not sure what one but have my suspicions it’s nugget as she seems a bit more mature and was ready to mate a few weeks before her sisters
Here is her first egg beside one of moms eggs
It weighed 39 grams and today her second egg weighs 69 grams already
Her egg looks tan but that the Blume I washed it off and it’s a pretty white
An updated pic of mom and dad with their 5 little ones
2 boys 3 girls
Yes I know I need more girls

First girl set off the laying hormone as this morning day 3 for the first girl I got 3 little eggs so all girls are laying now
Only a duck mom could understand my excitement

How do the looks of the khali campbell x pekin offspring differ from the father? It's hard to tell fromthe photos.

The two boys are more of a grey/ brown shades with really bright green heads that turn purple in certain lighting as well as the lower back and space on the wings turn teal , purple and blue in lighting
Dads head is green in the light but lure of a dark deep green but brown when not in light. He has a slight green in light on lower back and no colouring in the wings.
They are also much bigger then dad
The 2 daughters in the pool with mom and dad have dads size as well as shades of brown but have some white in the wings that he doesn’t
