I think my ducks are sterile

I'm brooding some ducklings now ad have been sprinkling this on their feed. So far, so good.

This is the one I have. Maybe you guys that know a little about amounts needed could let me know if this is a good one to use? I mixed 1tbs in a cup of feed then put the feed in a feeder
I’m in Canada and it’s really hard to find most things around my area. So amazon is my best option

I have the Anthony's Nutritional yeast too. You know, that stuff tastes just like cheese? It's weird.

My ducklings are five Pekin. They are going to be gardeners for a year to clean up some small ponds and marsh that are overgrown with weeds.

By the time I let my girls out full time this summer my weeds were almost done. But we have a yard full of dandelions. I think these ducks will have a blast cleaning up my yard this year. We never spray because we have cats and dogs
I did have a huge ant problem though and the kind they attack the big black/ red ones. So I bought diatomaceous earth food grade so it was safe around all my pets. The lady I got my drake from told me she uses it in her duck feed on a regular basis.

That's exactly what you want 1 Tab to 1 cup of feed.
A lot of people use the flakes over popcorn I've never tried it that way but they say it taste just like cheese.
Awesome. I was hoping I got the right kind
The ducklings are all eating it up so it must taste good
I have a question for you guys with my mom ducks eggs. If she does hatch some do I do Separate feed for her little ones ? I have her feed off the floor in an extendable dish holder so the ducklings won’t be able to eat her layer food
I have kept her water dish down right now as it’s big enough she stands in it to wash her belly sometimes if she can’t get to the pool
I plan to also put that one in a higher base as it would be dangerous for little ones. But could put a smaller dish down safe for them

Since a broody is not laying, she does not need the extra calcium in layer feed. She will be fine eating the same feed you give the ducklings, and then you won't have to bother with separate feeding dishes.

Baby 4 arrived last night
Out of 6 that started to grow all 6 made it to lockdown. Only 2 were able to hatch on their own. I will do a new thread on my experience as maybe it will help others who run into issues
But I have 4 beautiful little babies I’m very grateful for
