I think my EE "pullet" is actually a roo!! Second opinions needed!

Thanks, I will keep you in mind! Are you interested in a white EE rooster? I rescued him from my boyfriends aunt cause he had a bad leg injury. He's fully healed and has been for well over a month now but always will walk with a little bit of a limp, we call him gimpy

He's a real sweet roo! PM me and let me know if you are interested in giving him a good home, or know anyone else that can!

I'm thinking hen also. Those saddle feathers are awfully round. I think people are thinking roo cause the hackle feathers are clear on the edges, giving the appearance of being pointy.

I am thinking pullet.

My Easter Egger lost some tail feathers around 16 to 18 weeks. It made her upright tail look just like that for awhile until the feathers grew back in. I was freaking out thinking maybe she was actually a he. Nope. She lays eggs now.

If your easter eggers (including the white one) are at least 4-5 months old, then their combs look perfectly normal for pullets, but if their combs had turned red like that at 2-3 months, then I'd say rooster. I agree with the others - the hackle feathers are rounded on both chickens, which also speak pullet.

EE combs vary a lot, but this is the comb of one of my EE pullets at about 20 weeks of age.
