I think my flock has avian pox.....help please

Thank you. These two are the worst and yes they are being bullied lately. One has been quite broody despite my efforts to move her off the nest several times a day. The 2nd, although not sitting on a nest, acts broody, fluffed up, darting around, shrieking and then 2 or 3 of the wyandottes will go after her and jump on her. This is even during free range period. Is this normal?

I am very relieved that the opinion seems to be no pox and that is good news. Thank you again.

These flat, black scabs looks exactly like what our RIR, Ginger, had on her comb and wattle last year. As new chicken owners we panicked and rushed her to the vet, who said it did resemble avian pox (dry). Ginger shares a coop with one SLW and they never showed any sign of pecking each other so we ruled that out. While it did spread to the SLW, the "pox" went away on their own, never to be seen again. So there's hope! Scrub all of your feeders down along with anything else they come in contact with. Good luck!
