As I said at least once but I think twice in this thread, I know Chinese often do lay eggs in the fall of the year. The 'question' is why are the Embdens breeding since they are supposedly seasonal breeders.

Well.. I really dont think birds listen.. I have heard that egyptians are seasonal layers.. My friend and I usually have gosling before christmas and in the fall.. the key word there is supposedly.. LOL

I dont think they listen to what they are supose to do.. Atleast yours and mine dont.. I guess we have outlaws!

Really, they will be pretty cold! I've had friends ask me if I am going to hatch these eggs...my answer is heck no! It would be middle of November before they'd hatch and middle of December before they might be able to go outside! I've barely got any baby birds in the house this year, and I like it that way. The only eggs I'll be hatching are my Seramas...they're tiny!
