It's like these girls just tease us with the idea of getting eggs...LOL! I got 2 eggs yesterday...DARN them! I told them to get busy

My neighbor had a nice layout for her girls, but everyday one of them would walk all the way to the front of her house to lay an egg in the planter next to the front fence. Chickens are so odd! Glad your pep talked worked; lets hope it wasn't just a pleasing you tactic and they return to their other places.

Well, they have been good girls the last few days and laid in the next boxes. I got 2 eggs today.....YAHOO! My hubby laughs at me the way I get so tickled at the sight of a little egg in the nest. When I get home from work, I'll bypass him to go see if my girls laid...LOL!

Sometimes leaving eggs in the nest box will give them a clue. Even Faux eggs. Chickens seem to be visual in learning. Oh, and they will all want to use the one nest.

Thanks! I have white ceramic eggs in each nest to give them inspiration on where to lay. It seems to be working.....fingers crossed
