I think my hatch is over....

Just got back to the house from being in Orlando, Fl all week (convention....no fun with Mickey or the gang). Chicks were due yesterday. 2 had hatched yesterday. When I got home today, a third had knocked a big hole in the egg but hadn't done anything for about 24 hours. I "intervened" and hatched him and so far he seems to be doing ok, chirping like crazy and stretching his legs in the 'bator. I put his hatchmates into the brooder so they wouldn't mess with him and give him time to rest. Hopefully, he'll do ok. If so, I got 3 new baby Heritage Delawares in my bunch.

Well, these were pullet eggs, except for Kira's, so that may have had something to do with it. You're welcome to get another batch anytime! Their eggs are getting larger now that they've been laying a couple weeks more. And all of the four pullets are laying, too, not just Phoebe.
