Oish, this was a doozy. I was changing water today and I happened to look at BC, my Buttercups roo, and his left eye is either matted shut or he has lost an eye.
He got some horrific frostbite a couple weeks ago when the temperatures were -30/-45 windchill. Never let him out but it was just too cold. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, his eye was fine then.
He's acting normal and now that it's 70 out he's very active. I'm going to town tomorrow and wanted to know if there's any products I can pick up to treat him. Any advice will be appreciated.
I have attached a picture of what he looks like, it's not really graphic but he looks very beat up with his frostbitten wattles and comb.
