I think my silki has some kind of worm problem. What should I do?

I just bought her at a poultry show and she`s pooping blood and sometimes red wormy looking things. These are not normal turds. I almost threw up when I was inspecting it. Should this bird be isolated from the rest of my flock? What should I do with her? Also she is not laying any eggs.

Definitely isolate her from the others. If she is new, she should be quaratined anyway. If she is that bad, you may want to take a sample to a vet to determine the exact type of worm snd treatment. Is she acting sick? The blood could be from cocci.

Never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER bring in a new bird and have it around your established flock without quarantining it and observing for ANY diseases first. A far as the worms go I have never had to treat them, but there many threads on here regarding worming.
