I think one of my girls needs an extra special treat

I found this monster egg in the nest box today. after sending my jumbo egg layer to my dads so he could start his flock, we don't really get huge eggs anymore (they do). but every once in a while we will get a monster egg and here is one. I think I need to give my girls some extra treats today, because someone really needs one.

(the eggs beside it are the regular size eggs we get everyday, I think they are comparable to large size eggs)

Wow it must be in the air, I got a huge one today too!

cracked them open to coat some chicken for chicken parmesan...and there were two full size yolks inside! it wasn't just a double yolker but an double egg!
