I think one of my hens has had a stroke. She can no longer walk and one eye is dilated and the other is the size of a head of a pin.

During the day she was perfectly fine. Then when it came time for all of them to get into the coop she just laid there. She seemed dizzy. Since then, she has regained mobility of her wings and legs but not her feet and only a bit in her legs. Is there anything I can do for her? She does not seem to be in pain. But she does not move much at all. She still eats and drinks as long as I put food and water close to her. I just don't know what to do. Any ideas on what has happened or what I can do to help? Or should I just end her life if she can no longer walk?

I would place her in a pen or dog crate for tonight. She may have suffered a head injury or had a brain bleed. Is it hot there? Do you see any swelling or injury on her head? Green bruising may set in tomorrow if she was hurt. How old is she? In the morning, let us know how she is doing. Will you be there at daylight to offer water and food?
