My Ameraucana (more like EE) chicks are 6 weeks old now. I went out to the coop this morning, and noticed that this one was attempting to crow, and upon further inspection, I found spur bumps, not to mention the fact that the comb is pinking up, and larger than the others. This bird has always been bigger than the other chicks. I'm pretty sure she's a he, but I would like opinions. This one has always run the brooder, but is a very nice bird, always lets us pick it up, and doesn't fuss much.

He/she is a beautiful bird, but if it's a roo, I need to find it a home, because this will make roo #4.

At 6 weeks you can be pretty sure it's a roo with a comb like that. Plus if it's attempting to crow it's 100% roo!

Yup that comb states cockerel.

In the next couple weeks you will see saddle feathers start to come in.

Yeah, I don't think my pullet has that much comb at 14 weeks now. Boy!
