Super strange. I will say pullet. At this age I'd fully expect to see prominent male specific saddle feathers.

I know. It is really weird. Both Doms pinked up early, but were about the same in comb and wattle growth until quite recently. I was thinking boy, but at this age with no saddle feathers and no crowing...This chook is quite the one to sex.

Like I said... Pullet. My Buff Brahma Bantam mix cockerel at 8 weeks. I know they're different breeds and all, but for 18 weeks there would be lots of hackle and saddle feathers.

The only thing that makes me think cockerel is the pattern. And it really could be a lot lighter if it were a cockerel.
