My DD's ordered me Ancona ducklings for Christmas. I got them today. Four total, one was DOA, one died shortly after but the two surviving ones are doing ok. DD said they were cold, very cold even though there was a heat pack in with them. The package was insured and DD opened the package in front of the post office employees and also took pictures.
I mixed chick starter (non-medicated) with chick boost until it was pretty runny and put chick boost in their water. They drank for a good minute and then attacked the food like they were starving! Now they are sleeping under the heat lamp. Anything I need to watch for?
