I read and read and am confused as to the difference in a forced air or still air incubator. Hell I dont even know what I have come to think of it. Thank Goodness I aint done no incubating yet. Lol please do explain.

forced air means there's a fan to circulate the air. Still air means there's no fan. that's all

Lol..... Thank you so much for clearing that up for me. So mine must be a still air because is has a fan in it. Thanks again. This group is so awesome.

If ur incubator has a fan then it is a forced air.... If it does not have a fan it's a still air. U said it has a fan correct? If so its a forced air

Lmao. Yes it has a fan. I got my words all jumbled. Sorry. I just hooked it up tonight and set the temp. Wish me luck when my eggs arrive and i incubate they dont come out with 3 legs and 4 eyes. Incubating looks so simple. Like a monkey can do it... but this humidity thing has me stumped. Thanks for your setting me straight on the incubator.

I don't think monkeys can do it.....

but chickens can

. And that's what makes it so frustrating when you have a bad hatch
