I think this would make an excellent coop. My husband disagrees.

If it need a new floor, and it is too far from the house...why not get some friends around, grab a corner each and move it!

If you don't mind the walk, wire the floor, throw some deep bedding in, louvered vents and add on a mesh run. Looks perfect to me!

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to move it. At least turn the opening to the house for less wind coming in the doorway.
The thing is this is built from OLD 2x4s which really are 2x4 and it got old tin sheeting. Between the two it is quite heavy not at all like the metal sheds you buy. I plan on going out and seeing if we can play egyptians and move it on rollers with the aid of jacks.

I was about to suggest picking it up and moving it to a more convenient location.

Perhaps you could lever up each side and put a skid under it so that you could tow it gently with a truck or tractor?

Sound like you are already onto it. Not sure what equipment you have handy, but maybe lever it up onto a couple of pallets and lift it with a tractor tynes.

I like Egyptian style, I use it with pipe often when I am working with things bigger than I should.

Maybe remove some of the cladding to make it lighter and stick them back on with some new screws when it gets to it's new home.
