i think we have a rooster help!

i know we got boo peep on june third and the next day we got chicken nugget. they were from feed stores and they already had there feathers. i have a picture of boo peep when we got it but not of chicken nugget so im not postive on exact age becuz they were from a feed store and the lady wasnt very helpful. im so sad to hear chances are boo peeps a rooster. thankfully we have three or four other that are smaller. i guess i have to find it a good home now. sadness i dont wanna get rid of my chicken *cries*

that would make them a around 4-4.5 months old (20ish + weeks) and would make nugget a pullet as if it was a cockerel it would have the same saddles and hackles as the barred rock cockerel

oh thank god. i guess well re-home boo peep and if the crowing continues its chicken nugget too. i don't wanna get rid of any of my babies!

2nd roo
3rd hen turken roos get much larger than yours so unless its a bantam its obvious

I'm sad that i have to get rid of boo peep. i called the animal shelter and they said no roosters. called the zoning for our city they said no roosters either. why cant i apply for a dam permit? my neighbors have an unfixed aggressive bull mastiff that bounces on the property fence and can now stand on his back legs and put his front legs on the top of the fence to look into our backyard. so why should we have to worry about one rooster? if anyone knows of a good home plz let me know. were willing to drive up to three hours to meet half way or take him the full way. i want a good home for him. he was one of the first two chickens we got.

Try posting on craigslist or back at the feed store.

Craigslist is good depending on your area. Feed stores can be hit and miss, I posted a flier and have heard nothing. The best way I have found is word of mouth. Talk to people at work and ask them to ask their friends/family if anyone wants a rooster. That's how I rehomed my latest roo.
