I think We Have Another Indy-Check Out Gargantua-Chick

Love the blues and the barred blues. Beautiful flock!

I love those, too. The next to the last photo is the monster cockerel, T-Rex, who is towers over everyone else in there, including those his own age. The closest in size to him would be the blue barred male.

I love Iceman! I like ty too. Such pretty birds. How do you manage to have all those birds!? I would love to do what you do, breed birds and all. I need a large rooster but where I live oh boy no one has good chickens. Oh well I will find one lol

I have all those birds because I keep having broody hens and I give them a couple of eggs each and BAM! Chick overload! I honestly don't need anymore birds until more of the old hens pass on.

Ty went to a new home today. He just turned 15 weeks old. He ended up being very tall and still has to grow into his long, thick legs, but he and one of the black pullets of same parentage, now named Georgia, will be part of a small flock of Barred Rock and Buff Orpington pullets about the same age in North Carolina. I bet he's going to be one spoiled rooster!

Here are the last photos I took of Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Check out those cool saddle feathers! They are black in the center, edged in barred silver. Can't wait to see what he looks like as a mature rooster. Lisa promised she'd send along photos as he grew.
