I thought I bought a Mottled Java pullet! 😂😂😭

This chicken, Millie, is ~20 weeks.

I bought a "Mottled Java pullet" when she was around 9 weeks. She started trying to crow today. She has some blueish and reddish feathers along her back. No clue what this mystery chick is!

Saddles? Male coloring? Large pea comb?
It’s a male Olive Egger.

I dont see male saddles, I agree that it is indeed male coloring though and the comb is quite large.

Edit: front view photo would help, the comb looks to be a wild card. (as in type)

I know, but coloring is male. I can not see comb or saddle feathers very well.

Also, whoever sold him to you at the very least knew he wasn’t a mottled Java. And probably suspected it was male.

I dont see male saddles, I agree that it is indeed male coloring though and the comb is quite large.

Edit: front view photo would help, the comb looks to be a wild card.

In the second photo you can see brassy saddles poking through around the tail.
