I thought it was a Jersey Giant but does he have a black comb??

I have a few ayam cemanis.. looks a lot like this baby but not sure of comb type?

this is a chick ayam cemani, note the black legs, black beak, and black comb. They can have leaked red on their face if they are from a hatchery, or just naturally.

This is an adult ayam cemani, note black legs and comb type. Not sure of your babies comb type I can't really tell? I could be wrong but I have ayam cemani's. Closer side pick of comb? Ayam cemani's are EXTREMELY rare and very gorgeous breeds, you'll be lucky if you have one.

They mix up breeds all the time, not impossible, and EE's don't need fluffy cheeks, they aren't one breed they are a mix to get colored eggs.

Funny, I thought of Swedish black too! They look so much alike! But doubtful TSC would sell one...

TSC gets their chicks from hatcheries, so it is pretty possible they mized it up, most of them know nothing about chickens anyways.

I looked at him in the daylight and he has these red streaks. Could he be a black cooper Maran then?

He looks like my Asian black now that I see those, I feel Black copper or Asian black, Asian blacks are a created 'breed' so they can have any genetics but always have the black on them.

Not all EE have the muffs, I had one from a hatchery that didn't. Since EE aren't a breed, but a type, they can have any look. Time will tell, depending on what color egg she lays.

Copper Marans have a single comb as well, and white legs. So, that ones out. Time will tell. As she gets older, and eventually lays an egg, it will be easier to tell what she is.
