I thought she was sick but she laid her first egg!

I thought my hen was acting off today, lying down a lot and her butt seemed poofed out with a bit of poop on it. I was really worried about her, but I didn't find any eggs in the places I thought they'd be (nesting box and other areas they like). Then I went to move the hay and she had laid the egg on the top of the pile! And now her butt looks more normal. I am SO relieved and SO happy!

I have no idea if the fluid is normal. I think she just has a bit of poopy butt. This is both her first egg and mine. She is a Barred Rock about 5 1/2 months old.

She's pretty (at least her poopy butt is), and I have two BRs. That looks like a BIG egg.
