I thought this was a pullet ... now, not sure

Will you follow up here when he crows (or she lays)? I want to know if the video I watched about the pointy inside bits in rounded feathers was just wrong.
I will follow up. It's a learning process. I'm a little disgruntled about him lacking the rusty epaulets though. Later I'll post a pic of a Prairie Bluebell Egger that feathered out almost snow white as a chick, so I named her Spook. Well, she popped some color and is now more red than white. But she lays lovely blue eggs! šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

I had two prairie bluebells(still have one) and one was a solid off white. The other is a mix of blue/gray, white, and rusty red, she's so pretty and can fly really well. She lays a bright blue egg and the one who passed laid a pretty green egg. That's one thing I love about these mixes, it's a surprise with them

It sure is a learning process! Are the rusty epaulets indicitive of a make or female? I have only one Easter Egger and one Starlight Green Egger (both now 8 weeks old). My EE is black with white spots and a little crest on her head

and the Starlight GE is mostly brown.

Red leakage on the shoulders in Easter Eggers almost always indicates a male.
