I thought we had a deal!

Hope the "chick tantrum" behavior is not a precursor to dominant rooster behavior. If this chick is a cockerel, I'm betting he is fixing to be a human aggressive rooster. When all boundaries and levels of respect are removed, the tiny feathered dinosaurs sometimes run amuck.

That's why it's best to make pets of pullets and keep cockerels at a distance.

works for all the agressive cockerells ive had

I don't want any problems with dominance; I want mine to know that I am the alpha. When somebody jumps up to my shoulder, I gently lift them an put them on my lap. Now that doesn't mean that they never poop on my lap, they do. But at least I can see it there.

I have waist long hair and I have one little snuggler that likes to sit under my chin and nestle her head in my hair. Come to think of it, my chickens sleep with the dog several times a day and they never poop on her, thank goodness; she's a rough coat collie! I think I'd rather get the poop out of my hair!!! LOL

My white leghorn did that to me the other day. Luckily it wasn't in the hair though! Just all over my favorite t-shirt that I had just gotten out of the dryer. Lesson learned! Hahaha!
