I have never had chickens before and now have 8 one week olds. Put some baby crumbles on the brooder floor and they ignored it. I did the Mama Chicken scratch and they came runiing. So funny. Same food just another way of feeding. They are like little lions when it is not in the feeder but on the floor. LOL

Too cute... watch you created a monster! I just raised my outdoor feeder a good foot and a half off the ground. I would do anything if my adult birds didn't know how to scratch!
