Im thinking of getting an incubator, just to have in hand for when I want/need it. I’m not sure what incubator to get, and I want a higher quality one, without breaking the bank. I probably wouldn’t do more than 12 eggs at a time. What incubator should I get??? Oh and I would do either chicken or duck eggs. Please share some of your experiences!

I’ve never used either of those but I had the IncuView from Incubator Warehouse and I really liked it. I’ve also heard good things about Hovabators. Though of course those hold a lot of eggs so maybe not really worth it if you’re only doing so few at a time. But yeah. Idk. All 4 of those are good lol only downside to Brinsea is they’re really expensive but if you’re willing to pay, they are good incubators.

I got this one a while ago. Works perfect.
I guess it all just depends on what you’re using it for and how many eggs. I would stay away from any eBay and Amazon purchases though. You can always add a rotator and extra mechanics to it, but I’ve never needed to because when you’re curiosity makes you check up on them a few times each day.

I second the Hovabator.
I bought this one, with the fan and added an auto turner (I am also curious but opening it to hand turn causes temp fluctuations that I believe should be avoided when possible...but I’m no pro at this yet!)
I also got the humidikit, which is a cool mist humidifier that is more consistent than adding water to the channels below the eggs (also doesn’t need to have the incubator open to add more humidity when/ if needed).
I’ve used it for duck eggs. Look forward to trying Turkey eggs once they start to lay (any day!)
And. I also like the marketing option to sell to a reptile breeder should I decide that I need to sell it in the future.

Fancy. It almost looks like a waffle warmer.
It's a nice little incubator. You can set the turner to turn every hour or every three hours, it holds temp, and the auto humidity control is awesome.
