I really don’t have 500 dollars to spend on an incubator so I’m looking for something affordable for now and I’m trying to save up for a higher priced one later. I would really appreciate suggestions for good incubators, I’m also looking at nurture right 360 and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get it to try it but I don’t think it does quail. Please help, also willing to try and buy multiple incubators

I got a plastic one from amazon that works great.

I have the HBLife fully automatic incubator. It only cost about $60. I can put about 9-10 chicken eggs in it easily. I have also hatched out button quail - you just have to increase the temp and the humidity for those. Both chickens and button quail came out fine.

:welcome :frow :jumpy How many eggs are you setting? I started out years ago with a styrofoam incubator with a fan and turner. My first hatch wasn't the greatest but with each hatch I improved my hatch rate. You can get both quail egg rails and chicken egg rails. Good luck and have fun...

What are your hatching rates? What brand is it? Thanks for replying
It is just a cheep one from amazon and it is very easy to use it doesn’t have a name or brand but if you search incubator on amazon it will pull up. My hatch rates the first time we’re not very good 7 out of 24. But those eggs had been shipped. I am doing my second batch right now and so far 4 but those are also shipped. The temperature and everything holds steady though so it would probably have a good hatch rate if you had fresh eggs. Hope you find a good incubator!

Ya the one I have sets 24 I have a egg turner that dose all sizes of eggs right now I am doing quail.

I do have the Nurture Right and love it for hatching! I do not believe 2 quail eggs will fit in the egg spaces though (but maybe?). I still think it will turn the eggs just fine, it does work for my tiny serama eggs, but you could also load it up and hand turn them. The turner is removable, although that kinda defeats the purpose. Lol

There are a few quirks with the NR, but if you get it, I’d be happy to discuss them with you.

@Texas Kiki someone on your quail thread said two quail eggs won’t fit in the turner spaces, can you remember who?
