I want different colored eggs--I think I am obsessed! How about you?

Right now we are in the process of moving out of state to a home on 5 acres, so I can have waaaaayyyyy more chickens.

I want Ameraucanas, Marans, and some olive eggers. Right now I have Buffies and Aussies, BORING!

Woah i didnt know there where that many egg colors

. . . . what chickens lay what colored eggs ? who lays blue or pink egggs ? do they taste any different?

I have brown, pink, and cream. I have an EE who is supposed to lay a blue tinted egg but she has been holding out for months. I am dying for an olive egger. EE are my favorite because they are so colorful and so are their eggs.

I have two Easter Eggers and they lay the green and blue eggs. EE are 'mongrel' chickens bred from Ameraucanas who carry the 'blue' egg gene. But they are fantastic girls and mine lay olive green, to light blue, to sea foam green colors.
