I want everything to be perfect for my kiddos (candeling)

I completely agree, I think it's really good to let the kids be involved, and it's really good for them to learn about the life cycle. However it can be so upsetting if anything goes wrong, so be prepared if (and I hope this is not the case) anything were to happen. It's so worrying when they are hatching out, and too tempting to "have a look" which means you can harm the hatch.

My kids have learnt so much and love being part of it.

cool beans, its so on for Saturday morning, and we might get lucky enough to have a few hatch on Easter(this was an accident) thank you very much:^} I think im getting more excited than my kids

This is my 3rd season for hatching guineas ; ) I decided it must be a habit, so I finally got a regular candler, instead of the flashlight I was using. Now I can see on some a blood vien running kind of around the egg, but not entirely on some eggs. What does that mean?
Thanks,
