I talk softly to my little chickies and they seem to like it. They stick their eyeballs up in the air and stare at me... sometimes they talk back!
My first batch of babies stayed in the laundry room but these guys are in my family room so they hear our voices and see us often.
Last night, I took them out and they fell asleep roosting on my arm while I was on the couch.

I think the more positive exposure they get to you, the better.

i think imprinting helps but by the sound of its they are already to old to start imprinting
