I want something to hatch!

I think I will start staggering my eggs so that something hatches everyday.

I get bored when nothing is pipping...lol

I know what you mean, I'm itching to load the bator again, but right now I have 20 chickens in two runs with access to a split coop, and no place to put any others should I hatch them. I'm seriously considering to start collecting supplies to make a nice tractor so that I can use it as a breeding pen AND it will open up some room for another hatch's worth of chickens.

Before I knew that eggs could be collected and "set" at the same time, I would put each days' eggs in the 'bator when they were laid. I had 2-3 hatching every day for a week and it was wonderful! It also helped with the distinguishing between the babies until they got older. Those were the days... sigh... my incubator broke a couple years ago and I haven't gotten another yet.

You mean it is ok to add eggs after you have began? I put in eggs 48 hours ago, can I add more today? By the way, this is my first time!
