It is a Rooster, it is NOT a mille fleur .... maybe a mottled but that is black with white and some brown spots. The color in the hackles is not right either. the comb is wrong.... I think it might be an accidental mixed roo.

They're pretty just for that reason, to attract attention! Either the female for breeding or the predator to draw it's attention to the roo and away from the hens and babies.Why do the boys get to be the flamboyant ones? It's not fair ...
I can't have a roo ..I'm actually glad because I would have a seriously hard time picking just one georgous little man for my girls. LOL
I might see if I can ( at a later date) find a roo that can come for a visit tho **wink wink**
I would love to get chicks from my girls since they are all so sweetly dispositioned.
